BRANDARCHITECT
Applied arts graduate. 19 years across three languages, two continents, a thousand projects.
232 pitches won since 2019.
I didn't start with a design school philosophy. I started with a blank page and a stubborn refusal to make things that don't look like everything else.
I graduated from the Faculty of Applied Arts in 2007, then spent the next decade teaching myself everything that formal education couldn't: how to think strategically before touching a tool, how to write copy that carries the same weight as a visual, how to stand in a room and defend a creative decision to a CFO without losing the idea in the process.
Nineteen years later, I've worked on more than a thousand projects, from logos for new restaurants to full brand activations for Emaar, Mercedes-Benz, Aston Martin, and Etisalat. The scale changes. The discipline doesn't.
I work in Arabic, English, and Italian. I design, paint, and write. I believe the best brand work comes from people who understand the full spectrum of human expression, not just the commercial slice of it.

WHAT THEY SAY
"His work is to be noted on revamping brands and planning long-term, especially with brands like Mince and Ted's in which his input was invaluable. With a total of 232 projects since 2019, Wael has been crucial in winning several pitches for clients like Emaar, Mercedes-Benz and Volvo."
"Wael is one of the most talented art directors out there when it comes to branding, visual identity, and UX design. Genuine and multicultural, always able to give new dimension to every project he works on."
"The no.1 drawback in dealing with creative people is inconsistency. Wael is one of the very few genuinely talented creatives with constant creativity, reliability, and consistency."
"I've known Wael since 2007. Choosing to learn mostly by working and by teaching himself, he's as self-motivated as he is willing to learn from others. Putting work as a top priority. I see him at the office as early as 8AM and sometimes as late as midnight."
